It's 3 days until Christmas!! Are you ready?? Over the past two days,
I have braved the crowds and managed to load up on stocking stuffers
for everyone. Besides all the "hustle & bustle", it's been fun! Steven
is big on ordering online, so our first shipment came in today and the
rest is set to be here tomorrow. I have to say, it was quick... way
better than driving all over town to find gifts, although I've had to
do that for Steven's gift!! He's a booger to buy for!!
So, hope you guys are having fun gearing up for Santa!! We sure are!!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Moore Anniversary
I thought this was cute and had to share! Each Anniversary has it's own type of gifts you are suppose to give. On your 4th, it is traditionally fruit and/or flowers. I gave these to Steven...one for every year that we've been married. I also bought strawberries and chocolate dipping sauce...but he splurged on chocolate candies that I bought for him, too, so the strawberries are hiding in the frig for later! Opps...did I just give that away....so don't eat them without me, baby!!
And here's a tip for anyone else on a budget....buy inexpenive gifts in numbers....it saves you money and it's more fun to spread them out over a course of the day!!
Our 4th Anniversary
Yes, as of yesterday, Steven and I have been married 4 years!! How
time has passed. We've shared many ups and downs, but we've managed to
pull through with love...plus we share a beautiful little girl
together! Our precious gift to one another!
If you don't know our story, Steven and I met at church camp as teens
and reunited after 10 years. It still amazes me to look back and to
think of the love we shared then and now!! So, Happy Anniversary to my
"Lizzard" (Steven's nickname from camp)!! I love you!!
And a special thanks to Camp Wyldewood for being such a special place
to us...a place we now share with our children!!

Thanksgiving
The holidays always seem so busy. You go from one house to another only to stuff your face until you can't even grasp the thought of food anymore, you rest for 30 minutes before you're filling your plate again. When you aren't trying to figure out which house you're going to next, there's always football. And if your house is anything like mine, the t.v. literally stays on the sports channel until the game ends the Monday night following Thanksgiving!!Try getting homework done through all of that!
This year, we switched things up a little bit and decided to spend Thanksgiving Day with grandparents in Greenbrier, AR. Steven's Aunts came in from Alabama and Louisiana, along with their families. His Uncle David was also home this holiday season, after recently returning from military duty in the Middle East. We are so proud and blessed to have him in our family...and very thankful that he made it home unharmed! We spent the day visiting, eating, watching football, and entertaining kids. All in all, we had a good time...and as usual, we ate too much!
On Friday, we got up to do it all over again. This time we went to Stuttgart (AR) to visit family. We had to cut the trip a little short because Katie was scheduled to go to her Dad's house...and Aeris got an extra-long vacation when she got to stay with her "Granny & Poppa"!!
And if you missed the news a post or two back, over Thanksgiving weekend, Katie welcomed her 3rd little sister into the world. Her Dad and step-mother delivered their second baby girl, Sophia Rose, who is reported to be healthy and happy! Congrats to them and Katie!!
Ok...so here are a few pics from Thanksgiving:
Katie at Nans Lois's house....
Katie at Granny's house....the girls played "dress up". Katie flocked to the "flower power" costume...
And Aeris in her tutu!

Halloween
So after the pumpkin patch, or course we had to carve our pumpkins. I left this task to Steven mainly because I don't think I would know where to begin....other than "gutting" the pumpkin (which I did help do...and I think because I was the only one brave enough to stick my hands in goo)! Not only did Steven carve out the large pumpkin we picked out, but also carved Aeris's mini-pumpkin. Here's a few from our carving festivities and Halloween:
Katie and Aeris with our finished pumpkins. For lack of creativity, I named him Jack!
Lights out on Jack! Look at him glow!
Aeris as "Cinderella" on Halloween night....
And of course...Katie as "Hannah Montana"!
And I had to throw this one in....my grandfather, Poppy, gave this mechanical spider to the girls last Christmas. It's been an endless source of entertainment for the girls...especially when they try to get the dog to chase it (but he runs from it instead...I mean, really...can you blame him?). Needless to say, it turned out to be a great decoration/prop for Halloween....and I think we managed to make a few heads turn!
Month of October
Well, chances are that if this post starts looking familar, it's because it is. After posting our October events, I realized I left out a few pics...and well, let's just say it was easier to repost than trying to rearrange all the pictures again.
So, to recap: On October 3rd, Steven performed cover songs at Arkansas's ABATE Annual Bike Rally in Clinton, AR. He was the guest performer of Before The Fall (a friend's band). This was his debut performance and we were so proud to see him doing something that he enjoys and loves.

As Halloween began to approach, Steven, Aeris, and I went to a pumkin patch/corn maze in Mayflower, AR. We didn't venture through the corn maze because it was muddy (and I heard later people weren't allowed to go through unless they had rubber boots), but we did enjoy looking at pumkins and other oddly shaped gords. We managed to find a nice one and Aeris found a pumkin that was just her size. The remainder of the time, we wandered around with Aeris. She played in jump houses, traveled through hay tunnels, and ate giant (and I mean GIANT) corndogs! All in all, we had a good time....I only wish Katie had been with us. So here are a few pics from the pumpkin patch:
Steven & Aeris together
Aeris; age 3
This is my absolute favorite! As you can see, Aeris has some growing to do before her head will fill the cut-out....but she makes an excellent scarecrow!
