Graduating college is no easy task...especially with a young family tagging along for the ride, but even harder...finding a J-O-B!! These days a degree will earn you more pay and a perhaps a little respect, but finding a career that matches your degree is a pain.
After FINALLY finishing school in August, I've been searching high and low for a career that encompasses all the hard work I had to endure...and find one that suites my desires. I really want to help women and children who have been victims of violent crimes. To most, that doesn't sound appealing, but its something I long to do. It happens more than we know and if helping one person is something I can do...well...then so be it.
In the meantime, I've been on the look out for a job that pays decent money and that can just give me some good ole' work experience. So here's the update (for those of you who don't know the latest)....
I have been offered a job with AT&T! I will be a Sales Support Rep. in the Russellville store. Basically, I will be dealing with the store's inventory and products. I'm especially excited because it seems that I'm really needed and wanted! Thanks to Steven, this job just fell into my lap...in some ways, anyway. So...I was set to start this Sunday (11/07/10), but unfortunately my training class was filled and I was rescheduled for early December. I will have to travel to Dallas for a week or so, but I have faith that Steven can handle it! I've been spending my time sorting out the girl's clothes and making the morning rush a breeze! And hopefully I wont need to leave an instruction manual behind in my absence! HAHA!!
Now it's just a waiting game....so in the meantime, if the walls of our house begin to change colors....don't look at me!
